All treatment begins with an initial consultation with Dr Catriona Davis-McCabe. All sessions are available both face to face and online via telehealth.

Consultation: $250.00
At the consultation you will be able to discuss with Catriona any issues that you want to bring to therapy. It might be that you decide on one form of therapy or a mixture of counselling/psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy. The consultation usually lasts 50 minutes.

Counselling / Psychotherapy / EMDR / Clinical Hypnotherapy: $250.00
Counselling/psychotherapy/EMDR sessions are usually on a weekly basis and are for 50 minutes per session.

Couples / Family Counselling: Sessions are usually on a forthnightly basis.

50 mins: $ 350

Clinical Hypnotherapy for Smoking Cessation Package:  $500.00 This is a one-off session which includes an in-depth assessment and a digital copy of the hypnotherapy  session. Please allow 1.5 hours for this session. At the time of booking the appointment, please make it clear that you require the smoking cessation session.

Clinical Supervision:  $200.00 Catriona has experience supervising general psychologists, clinical and counselling psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors. She is a Board approved supervisor for the 4+2 and 5+1 Internship Program (primary and secondary), HDR students and psychologists undertaking the registrar program in the area of counselling psychology.

Psychological Assessment and Court Reports: Please contact for fee details.

Medicare Rebates: You will be able to claim a rebate from Medicare for individual counselling if your doctor has referred you with a Mental Health Care Plan, or if you are referred by a Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. The current rebate (2021) is approximately $88.25 each session, for up to 20 sessions per calendar year. If you wish to process your Medicare refund automatically, please ensure that you set up electronic claiming with Medicare before your appointment.
